FAQ

Where is the best place to setup these units? The best place is a level grassy area. All Kids Play inflatable rentals must be anchored down. If you need to set up on concrete or asphalt please let us know prior to the event. Make sure there are no underground irrigation pipes and/or buried telephone lines close to the perimeter of the bounce site. Some stakes are 40″ long! Please make sure the area is free of any waste/debris. Kids Play is not responsible for any irrigation property damages.

Do You offer cash refunds? We don’t offer cash refunds, however our company offers In-store credit toward your next rental.

Am I liable for damages? Yes you are, Kids Play offers “Damage Insurance” for as little as $25. this covers any rips, or tears in the unit. We hold your credit card on file and if you have too many children or if you have adults on the Inflatable and it tears, then Kids Play will charge you for any negligent damages to our property.

How much Is it to reserve?  Kids Play requires 50% down and a signed booking and waiver agreement to confirm the reservation.

Do I need a power source? All of the inflatables require blowers, each blower requires its own dedicated circuit. Some of our larger units can require up to three blowers. The standard household outlet (110) will be fine for each blower. Kids Play supplies an extension cord up to 100 feet for each blower. Please keep that in mind when thinking of placement of the inflatable unit. Kids Play does have generators available for rent, see pricing for details. Water slides will need a water hydrant close by to connect to.

How much Space is required for set up? This all depends on the unit you are renting. Our inflatables range from 12′ to 40′ in length, so ask about the space required for the unit you are requesting. You can also find the size details on the inflatable on the products page.

What if it is rainy or windy? Kids Play reserves the right to cancel a reservation due to heavy rains or high winds (over 20 mph). There is no penalty to the renter. As the renter you have the right to cancel the event in the case of eminent rain (within 24 hours.)  Once the unit is enroute to you, then you will be charged the full amount .  We are constantly watching the weather so we will advise you if rain or wind is going to affect your event.

How many children can bounce at a time? Each unit has its own specific guidelines, but here is a general idea to follow: As a guideline: ages 2-8………6 to 8 children ages 9-12…….5 to 7 children ages 13-up…..4 to 6 children Of course this is just a guideline to follow, the largest determining factor is the child’s size. Keep in mind it is safest to keep compatible sized children in the unit at the same time. This is a rule that Kids Play follows very closely.

Can we use the bounce house in the rain? Absolutely not. It is extremely dangerous to use any equipment that requires electricity in the rain. The unit must be dropped (elec turned off) should a rain storm or heavy winds push through the area.

Can dry toys be used with water? No. There will be a clean up fee if water is used on one of the dry Inflatables.

Do you secure your units? This is a MUST! We either stake the units securely to the ground or use concrete weights in each corner to secure them. Should winds in excess of 20 mph push through the area it is absolutely necessary to drop the unit (turn power off) until the bad weather passes.
